Spectators: 7236 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Beto Branco took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Juvenal Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute, Juvenal Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute Gilmar Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrézinho do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal Bittencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernani Freire came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Corinthians's Juvenal Bittencourt. But to his dismay, Juvenal Bittencourt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. SC Corinthians's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Gilmar Barreto scored to the left of an out of position Andrézinho do Vale, making the score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in SC Corinthians's zone, Gilmar Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrézinho do Vale came out of the goal and Gilmar Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilmar Barreto to strike the kick off in the second half. Beto Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Hernani Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beto Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Freire having to interfere. Juvenal Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beto Branco might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernani Freire. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beto Branco ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes into the match, SC Corinthians's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Barreto came free, but Andrézinho do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes, Giovanni Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Corinthians and the Olaria A.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Corinthians getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Giovanni Aguiar hit a great ball. Beto Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Freire having to interfere. Juvenal Bittencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernani Freire made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Juvenal Bittencourt sent off a good shot on target. SC Corinthians's Andrézinho do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Barreto in the 89th minute of play. Gilmar Barreto struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Andrézinho do Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olaria A.C.. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
