The tension between the Anhandui and the SASB players grew even worse after the yellow card. 7 minutes into the match, Clemente Brodel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SASB's Falcão Fantini. Falcão Fantini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Clemente Brodel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anhandui's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Brodel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Falcão Fantini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the match, SASB's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Brodel came free, but Falcão Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Anhandui's Clemente Brodel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Falcão Fantini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anhandui's Xie Kun Fan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Anhandui from getting a goal against them. Putte Blues short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Xie Kun Fan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 29 minutes, Putte Blue made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Anhandui's Xie Kun Fan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Anhandui were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after SASB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sanchez Ballugera took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SASB's goalie and right to Norberto Pena. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SASB's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. SASB's Falcão Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Brodel in the 39th minute of play. When Clemente Brodel came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Anhandui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Brodel couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

A collision led to SASB getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Tolek Wieloch hit a great ball. José Pena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of SASB booed when Anhandui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Putte Blue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xie Kun Fan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SASB booed when Anhandui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Anhandui's goal looked a bit too open when Putte Blue came free, but Xie Kun Fan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Brodel struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Falcão Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anhandui. After having played for 77 minutes, Walmyr Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SASB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walmyr Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Putte Blue succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. In the 88th minute, Clemente Brodel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Falcão Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Clemente Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SASB fans cheered their team off the field, for while Anhandui had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
