The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Gotham City's goalkeeper Faustão Carneiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vadim Turov. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vadim Turov got free with Faustão Carneiro in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the game, Frank Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Serafim Alvarenga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Serafim Alvarenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Gotham City's Gil do Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafim Alvarenga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Gil do Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st match minute, Gotham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. If Jorge Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gil do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Serafim Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laércio Alcântara was the one to do the kick off. AS Treviso Italia's Serafim Alvarenga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save AS Treviso Italia from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Gotham City getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Bruno Coelho hit a great ball. When AS Treviso Italia's Vadim Turov in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gotham City's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gotham City's zone, Laércio Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustão Carneiro came out of the goal and Laércio Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Faustão Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vadim Turov in the 66th minute of play. Jorge Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gotham City's Jorge Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vadim Turov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustão Carneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. AS Treviso Italia were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Gotham City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fausto Motta took the corner. Ulisses Rodrigues was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Rocha in the 82nd minute of play forced AS Treviso Italia's goalkeeper Serafim Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in AS Treviso Italia's zone, Frank Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafim Alvarenga came out of the goal and Frank Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th match minute, Gotham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, AS Treviso Italia's goalkeeper Serafim Alvarenga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Rocha. Marcinho Alves hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 94thth minute of the game Vadim Turov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gotham City's Faustão Carneiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Serafim Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil do Nascimento in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Frank Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Gotham City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AS Treviso Italia.
