Willian Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juvenal de Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juvenal de Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Diaurum ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal de Sena to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Jefferson de Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jefferson de Castro struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Marcel Sampaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brasilino EC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Jefferson de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almir Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Vasconcelos having to interfere. With a little luck, Brasilino EC's Tiago Vasconcelos got control of the ball when Hélder Cearense tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Almir Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diaurum ES's supporters rose to their feet, but Almir Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Vasconcelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Willian Torres came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Brasilino EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willian Torres couldn't finish the play. Diaurum ES's Marcel Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson de Castro in the 83rd minute of play. Hélder Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Cearense got free with Tiago Vasconcelos in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jefferson de Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brasilino EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Diaurum ES had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
