The crowd rose to their feet as Wágner Gomes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ulysses Sabóia. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Reynaldo Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Henrique Breckenfeld took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Ulysses Sabóia to make any attempt to save it. 39 minutes into the match, Salgueirón FC's goalkeeper Ulysses Sabóia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Renato Freire. Reynaldo Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Salgueirón FC's Dário Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Ulysses Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Renato Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 57th match minute, 100 CHANCE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wágner Gomes to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Salgueirón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Freire came free, but Ulysses Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulysses Sabóia was left in no man's land by his defense there! When David Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Salgueirón FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Queiroz couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Emerson Tróia notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of 100 CHANCE's Joaquim Paiva. Joaquim Paiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 81 minutes into the match, Salgueirón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Félix came free, but Ulysses Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
