Romeu Paiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Noel Mota scored 0-7 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romeu Paiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Manfredo Aparecido made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Gavea Rio's Romeu Paiva got control of the ball when Geovanni Trevisan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when 宋迪潮 got free with Romeu Paiva in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
