After a defensive mix-up in Patolas FC's zone, Patrick das Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After 6 minutes of play, Icarai SS's Igor Pimenta made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ediberto Neto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Icarai SS! Ediberto Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ediberto Neto made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Patrick das Neves sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the game, Icarai SS's Patrick das Neves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ediberto Neto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Gilmar Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tales Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 27 played minutes Icarai SS got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Guilherme Pinheiro. Igor Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Patolas FC's Raúl Monteiro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 35th minute Tony Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tales Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Vinhas in the 37th minute of play. Tony Cavalcante took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tales Linhares. Tales Linhares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Tales Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Vinhas in the 44th minute of the match. If Tony Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Donato Vinhas made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Raúl Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ediberto Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Patolas FC's Gilmar Lara got a free kick in the 57th minute. Patrick das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gilmar Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Patolas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Nóbrega came free, but Ediberto Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patolas FC's Ediberto Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick das Neves in the 92nd minute of play. Tony Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
