Spectators: 7194 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) Pedro Luiz Albuquerque started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nilson Hunn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilian Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. When Pedro Luiz Albuquerque fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altonia's protests and gave Pedro Luiz Albuquerque a yellow card for diving instead. Nilson Hunn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian Fonseca in the 7th minute of play. Antônio Carlos Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wilian Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Antônio Carlos Soeiro made a precise shot to the right of Nilson Hunn. Altonia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 19th minute, Wilian Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vila Osasco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The referee gave Vila Osasco a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Percival Andrade, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Altonia's Nilson Hunn. 0-3. Antônio Carlos Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Hunn having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Altonia's Pedro Luiz Albuquerque ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Umberto Rocha. Umberto Rocha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Thomás Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Umberto Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luiz Albuquerque in the 39th minute of the match. When Pedro Luiz Albuquerque came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Altonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luiz Albuquerque couldn't finish the play. Pedro Luiz Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto Rocha having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antônio Carlos Soeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilian Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nilson Hunn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Altonia's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Soeiro came free, but Nilson Hunn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cacá Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match Percival Andrade sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilson Hunn skillfully saved the ball. Pedro Luiz Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Umberto Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilian Fonseca's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nilson Hunn firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Pedro Luiz Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Umberto Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luiz Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Luiz Albuquerque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Umberto Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Pedro Luiz Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Antônio Carlos Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos Soeiro in the 75th minute of play forced Altonia's goalkeeper Nilson Hunn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Luiz Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Umberto Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Antônio Carlos Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilian Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Wilian Fonseca fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 90 minutes, Pedro Luiz Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altonia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Luiz Albuquerque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Vila Osasco booed when Altonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Luiz Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Umberto Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vila Osasco eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
