After 4 played minutes Lage got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Seco. Lage's José Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Dionísio in the 12th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Juvenal Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Vitinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juvenal Dionísio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute of the match, Natanael Toscano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christian Guimarães saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Anderson Novaes scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Lago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edvaldo Coutinho charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edvaldo Coutinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, Real Vitinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvaldo Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Lage defense, Narciso Paraense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Lago. The Lage fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Lago should have stopped the shot. Natanael Toscano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Natanael Toscano came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Lage fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natanael Toscano couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Cláudio Quintal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Lage booed when Real Vitinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvaldo Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Anderson Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. José Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lage's José Lago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Lage from getting a goal against them. 60 minutes into the game, Juvenal Dionísio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. José Lago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute, Anderson Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anderson Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Lago having to interfere. With a little luck, Lage's José Lago got control of the ball when Juvenal Dionísio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Lage's goalkeeper José Lago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juvenal Dionísio. After taking down the ball on Real Vitinho's corner Jaime Tasso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and José Lago quite easily take care of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, José Lago successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Novaes in the 84th minute of play forced Lage's goalkeeper José Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juvenal Dionísio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. José Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Natanael Toscano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Guimarães. Real Vitinho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natanael Toscano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. The Real Vitinho players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
