In the 28th minute, Silas Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, DeLucena F.C.'s Anderson da Costa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 30 minutes into the match, DeLucena F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha Paulista came free, but Cássio Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Sao Cristovao's Silvério França slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cássio Tasso. That made the score 2-1 after 33 minutes of play. Cássio Tasso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sao Cristovao's Tiago Gabriel Arantes got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
