With his leg Pedro Luís Lopes managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Dream Team RN - FDFDF's Wanderson Passos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pedro Luís Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanderson Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Yuri Breckenfeld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dream Team RN - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taxistas Futebol Clube the free kick. The supporters of Taxistas Futebol Clube booed when Dream Team RN - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Breckenfeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmo Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Pedro Luís Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson Passos in the 24th minute of play forced Taxistas Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dream Team RN - FDFDF's zone, Napier Canelas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Diniz came out of the goal and Napier Canelas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th match minute, Dream Team RN - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmo Pombal to maneuver through the defense. Yuri Breckenfeld hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Ramiro Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Diniz having to interfere. Taxistas Futebol Clube's Pedro Luís Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Passos in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 played minutes Taxistas Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Alex Medeiros. When Dream Team RN - FDFDF's Wanderson Passos in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Alex Medeiros made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Medeiros got free with Marcelo Diniz in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alex Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reynaldo Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Pedro Luís Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Botelho in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dream Team RN - FDFDF's Wilson Eger got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Alex Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Wanderson Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Dream Team RN - FDFDF getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Dalmo Pombal hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Dé Veloso in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Taxistas Futebol Clube's Guto Miranda. With a little luck, Dream Team RN - FDFDF's Marcelo Diniz got control of the ball when Guto Miranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, José Vítor Botelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dream Team RN - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taxistas Futebol Clube the free kick.
