The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Beco getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Ivo Paes hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Wanderson Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dream Team RN - FDFDF's supporters rose to their feet, but Wanderson Passos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otávio Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olívio Abreu during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wanderson Passos in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otávio Souza saved Beco from getting behind. Wanderson Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute Yuri Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otávio Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wanderson Passos's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Manoel Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beco's supporters rose to their feet, but Manoel Freitas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Wanderson Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilian Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dream Team RN - FDFDF's goalkeeper Marcelo Diniz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, one of Beco:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alan Meireles shot the penalty kick right outside the post. A collision led to Beco getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Waldemar Coelho hit a great ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manoel Freitas made a kick off. Marcelo Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Dream Team RN - FDFDF's zone, Wilian Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Diniz came out of the goal and Wilian Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dalmo Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Dream Team RN - FDFDF's zone, Wilian Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Diniz came out of the goal and Wilian Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Beco's goal looked a bit too open when Wanderson Passos came free, but Otávio Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wanderson Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Dream Team RN - FDFDF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Beco.
