The crowd rose to their feet as Sao Cristovao's Tiago Gabriel Arantes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guga Velloso. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Guga Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luciano Fonseca in the 10th minute. All-Star FC's Guga Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel Arantes in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, All-Star FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gabriel Arantes came free, but Guga Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Fonsecas short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Guga Velloso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tiago Gabriel Arantes struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Afonsinho Abraão hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elder Mattos made a kick off. Wilson Vale in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luiz Fábio Lucas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 52nd minute, Silvério França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sao Cristovao's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Lucas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 84 played minutes Sao Cristovao got a freekick which was hit by Cesinha Paulista. Tiago Gabriel Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Guga Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sao Cristovao were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
