Luciano Fonseca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Otávio Souza came out and tried to block the shot, but Luciano Fonseca slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Luciano Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Otávio Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 played minutes Beco got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Paes. After having played for 15 minutes, Tiago Gabriel Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sao Cristovao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Gabriel Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Acácio Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiago Gabriel Arantes made a kick off. The supporters of Beco booed when Sao Cristovao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inácio Sarmento was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Sao Cristovao:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Beco:s goal. After a rather tough play, Beco's Jorge Sergipano got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th match minute, Sao Cristovao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Beco's zone, Luciano Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Souza came out of the goal and Luciano Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilian Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Luiz Fábio Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Beco getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Acácio Cordeiro hit a great ball. If Luciano Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Luciano Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Otávio Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Beco's Otávio Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Fonseca in the 90th minute of play. Luciano Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Souza having to interfere. Sao Cristovao walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
