Kléberson Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Carvalho in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Hot Rod Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wellington Velloso to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Hot Rod Sports defense, Pedro Paulo Abraão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Norberg. The Hot Rod Sports fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Norberg should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in NAMO F.C's zone, Mário Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kléberson Castro came out of the goal and Mário Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, Germano Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 played minutes Hot Rod Sports got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Jacinto. Lucas Norberg was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Pedro Paulo Abraão capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pedro Paulo Abraão really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. 40 minutes into the match, Hot Rod Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paulo Abraão came free, but Lucas Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes Hot Rod Sports's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stig Wiberg who took care of the corner kick. When NAMO F.C's Pedro Paulo Abraão in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lucas Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hot Rod Sports's Lucas Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Abraão in the 64th minute of play. Arnaldo Capixaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Norberg having to interfere. After 69 minutes, Luís Fernando Barral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hot Rod Sports and the NAMO F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute Arnaldo Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Norberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Capixaba's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for NAMO F.C.
