The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kléberson Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 7th match minute, CORNOS FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. Kauã Seco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedro Paulo Abraão showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. After a rather tough play, CORNOS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Rogério Gaúcho got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Pedro Paulo Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, CORNOS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Kauã Seco got control of the ball when Pedro Paulo Abraão tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, NAMO F.C's Pedro Paulo Abraão got a free kick in the 17th minute. Cipriano Vander hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 23rdth minute of the game Pedro Paulo Abraão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CORNOS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Kauã Seco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Rogério Gaúcho notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of NAMO F.C's Kléberson Castro. Kléberson Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute Renan Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes, Luiz Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NAMO F.C and the CORNOS FUTEBOL CLUBE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luiz Almeida hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Renan Tasso to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Arnaldo Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauã Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of CORNOS FUTEBOL CLUBE booed when NAMO F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adilson Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. NAMO F.C's Kléberson Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save NAMO F.C from getting a goal against them. A collision led to NAMO F.C getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Pedro Paulo Abraão hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renan Tasso in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kléberson Castro saved NAMO F.C from getting behind. Kléberson Castro made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Rogério Gaúcho sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the game, Pedro Paulo Abraão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NAMO F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CORNOS FUTEBOL CLUBE the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Renan Tasso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kléberson Castro. That made the score 2-3 in the 73 minute of play. Hugo de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. NAMO F.C's Stig Wiberg got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to NAMO F.C getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Arnaldo Capixaba hit a great ball. Artur Zonta took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kléberson Castro. Kléberson Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. 94 minutes into the match, Rogério Gaúcho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kléberson Castro. NAMO F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogério Gaúcho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. The NAMO F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CORNOS FUTEBOL CLUBE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
