In the 12th minute, Mauro Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matheus Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Luís Fábio Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Guilherme Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Tony Coelho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Negri. Cartoleiro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tony Coelho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Santana got free with Luís Fábio Vaz in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Guilherme Urbano took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Negri. David Negri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. David Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Tony Coelho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Negri. Cartoleiro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tony Coelho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Matheus Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fábio Vaz having to interfere. With his leg Luís Fábio Vaz managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Cartoleiro FC's Dedê Reis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Tony Coelho came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Noe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Coelho couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Cartoleiro FC's Samuca Vieira got a free kick in the 45th minute. David Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Coelho in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Augusto Lira made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Cartoleiro FC's goalkeeper David Negri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Marques. When Cartoleiro FC's Dedê Reis in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Noe's goalie prevented a goal. If Alexandre Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cartoleiro FC's Egídio Neto got a free kick in the 80th minute. Luís Fábio Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Augusto Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Coelho in the 85th minute of the match. Durval de Mendonça hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cartoleiro FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dieguinho Lopez hit a great ball. When Enrique Marques came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Noe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Marques couldn't finish the play.
