After a rather tough play, Poço de Merda's Eurico Eger got a free kick in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Severino Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poço de Merda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PRxHC the free kick. Severino Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. PRxHC's Erik Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Pimenta in the 35th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Ivo Vianna made a precise shot to the right of Erik Trancoso. PRxHC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Orlando Pimenta made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 58thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Erik Trancoso would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 59 minutes into the game, Vânderson Munhoz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The crowd rose to their feet as Ivo Vianna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erik Trancoso. That made the score 0-3 in the 64 minute of play. Flávio Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PRxHC's Erik Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Vianna in the 87th minute of play. Erik Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Vianna in the 100th minute of play. The Poço de Merda supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Poço de Merda would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
