Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 1) Zé Paulo Urbano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the game, Jefferson Romero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.R.Fla Master's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gentio the free kick. After 2 played minutes C.R.Fla Master got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Romero. Edgar Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Chiquinho Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chiquinho Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Chiquinho Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jefferson Romero took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldão Hoffmann. Ronaldão Hoffmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nilton Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Urbano in the 13th minute of the match. Nicolas Mesquita struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Ronaldão Hoffmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.R.Fla Master. Nilton Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes, Ulisses Hermes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.R.Fla Master and the Gentio players grew even worse after the yellow card. 20 minutes into the match, C.R.Fla Master's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Urbano came free, but Nilton Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Edgar Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jefferson Romero came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the C.R.Fla Master fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jefferson Romero couldn't finish the play. If Bruninho Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When C.R.Fla Master's Jefferson Romero in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gentio's goalie prevented a goal. Célio Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldão Hoffmann having to interfere. Jefferson Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ronaldão Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nilton Araújo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Edgar Vasconcelos. In the 43rd minute, Zé Paulo Urbano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilton Araújo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.

Nicolas Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ronaldão Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Paulo Urbano scored 2-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nilton Araújo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Urbano in the 70th minute of play forced C.R.Fla Master's goalkeeper Nilton Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 minutes of play Gentio's Chiquinho Lima was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 75th minute, Chiquinho Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a C.R.Fla Master's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gentio's Edgar Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute Ulisses Hermes managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. C.R.Fla Master's Nilton Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruninho Fonseca in the 84th minute of play. After 90 played minutes C.R.Fla Master got a freekick which was hit by Célio Guerra. 92 minutes into the game, Gentio's Bruninho Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilton Araújo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Ronaldão Hoffmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jefferson Romero in the 96th minute. C.R.Fla Master's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Gentio had won, even though C.R.Fla Master had held more of the ball.
