After a rather tough play, Cadete's Yuri Meirelles got a free kick in the 4th minute. Ernesto Bezerra came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Cadete's Yuri Meirelles. But to his dismay, Yuri Meirelles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Raúl Goiano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Elivélton Corrêa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Meirelles in the 16th minute of play forced CF MILIONÁRIOS's goalkeeper Ernesto Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Carlos Alberto Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cadete's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Alberto Ramalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, CF MILIONÁRIOS's goal looked a bit too open when Betão Nogueira came free, but Ernesto Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Bezerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedrão Meireles went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the game, Ernesto Carvalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Raúl Goiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juan Loureiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Raúl Goiano made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Ramalho in the 37th minute of play forced CF MILIONÁRIOS's goalkeeper Ernesto Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ernesto Carvalho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raúl Goiano. That made the score 2-2 in the 39 minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Cadete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex de Brito to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Raúl Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yuri Meirelles made a kick off. After 54 played minutes CF MILIONÁRIOS got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho dos Santos. Juan Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Raúl Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Betão Nogueira got free with Ernesto Bezerra in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Alberto Ramalho's late challenge caught a CF MILIONÁRIOS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Alberto Ramalho helped the player get up and apologised. Carlos Alberto Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. A collision led to Cadete getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Claudinho Linhares hit a great ball. Raúl Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 81 minutes into the game, Ernesto Carvalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Raúl Goiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th minute, Oséas Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 played minutes, Cadete's Remo Nóbrega shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernesto Bezerra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cadete reached it. Fernandinho dos Santos hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Ernesto Bezerra made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Carlos Alberto Ramalho sent off a good shot on target. After 96 minutes, Eliseu Massa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cadete and the CF MILIONÁRIOS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 97 played minutes Cadete got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Massa. In the 97th minute of the match Elivélton Corrêa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raúl Goiano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CF MILIONÁRIOS fully deserved thier win.
