Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Eletro Power's zone, Jefferson Vander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Márcio de Sousa came out of the goal and Jefferson Vander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kiko Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Joel Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Eletro Power's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Vander came free, but Márcio de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Márcio de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Márcio de Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jefferson Vander's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Flávio da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jefferson Vanders short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Márcio de Sousa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Alfredo de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Márcio de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Márcio de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jailson da Fonseca's late challenge caught a Sipeva EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jailson da Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Jailson da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Jefferson Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jefferson Vander to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Sipeva EC got a freekick which was hit by Charles Novaes. Joel Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sipeva EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Anselmo Tepedino placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Joélson Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jefferson Vander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Márcio de Sousa having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Eletro Power's Roberto Diniz got a free kick in the 77th minute. Alfredo de Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Márcio de Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sipeva EC. Eletro Power's Jailson da Fonseca got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Jailson da Fonseca off the ground. A collision led to Eletro Power getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Jailson da Fonseca hit a great ball.
