Spectators: 7238 (Terracing: 5430, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simão de Sena started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Urussui's Victor Moreno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Douglas Bezerra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Márcio Neves in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Tasso saved Urussui from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Márcio Neves in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victor Moreno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Douglas Bezerra made a huge save. Douglas Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Moreno's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Urussui's goalkeeper Daniel Tasso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márcio Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Márcio Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Toninho Gomes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Tasso. Urussui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toninho Gomes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Urussui's Daniel Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio Neves in the 42nd minute of play. After 45 played minutes Urussui got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Vergílio. In the 46th minute, Hílton Teles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Márcio Neves made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Tasso made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Sílvio Dante sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, Urussui's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Gomes came free, but Daniel Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Douglas Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão de Sena in the 63rd minute of play. Márcio Nevess short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Daniel Tasso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Márcio Neves in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Tasso saved Urussui from getting behind. Márcio Neves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Daniel Tasso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 79th minute, Simão de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Douglas Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urussui's Daniel Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Urussui from getting a goal against them. Simão de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Douglas Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Márcio Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nukengo SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
