In the 2nd minute, Marco Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, Kasesky EC's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Mazza came free, but Gino de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Recife in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the game, one of Centauros:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Kasesky EC. Dario Bodelon stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Miguel Barbosa. 0-1. A collision led to Kasesky EC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Kauan Meireles hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Centauros's Horácio Santana got a free kick in the 15th minute. Cássio Recife's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Barbosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Diogo da Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Centauros and the Kasesky EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Centauros got a freekick which was hit by Diogo da Rocha. Dario Bodelon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Barbosa having to interfere. Kasesky EC's Cássio Recife got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kasesky EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pascual Barrutia in the 28th minute. Dario Bodelon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Dario Bodelon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Barbosa was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Miguel Barbosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dario Bodelon went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 39 minutes of play, Kasesky EC's Cássio Recife made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Barbosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute Cássio Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Cássio Recife made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Dario Bodelon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Miguel Barbosa. Dario Bodelon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Alan Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Edgar Gomes charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Gomes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Centauros booed when Kasesky EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Centauros's goalkeeper Miguel Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Bodelon. In the 75thth minute of the game Cássio Recife who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Centauros's Miguel Barbosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diogo da Rocha hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Cássio Recife recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Miguel Barbosa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 82 minutes Centauros's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pascual Barrutia who took care of the corner kick. Dario Bodelon struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Miguel Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kasesky EC. 85 minutes into the game, Kasesky EC's Júlio Falcão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Barbosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After 89 minutes, Cássio Recife made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Centauros's Miguel Barbosa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
