A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 34 played minutes Augusto de Salles rounded INDUSTRIAL FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 38th minute, one of Brejui SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brejui SC. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for INDUSTRIAL FC. Valdomiro Neto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mateus de Toledo. 1-2. Brejui SC's Mateus de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acácio Donato in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Acácio Donato notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Brejui SC's Mateus de Toledo. Mateus de Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The INDUSTRIAL FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing INDUSTRIAL FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
