César Palmeira made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Umberto Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. Elder Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. César Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quixabinha's César Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Ferreira in the 18th minute of play. If Alan Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Rafinha Almeida struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Carlos Esteves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quixabinha. César Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Ferreira in the 36th minute of play. Alan Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Esteves having to interfere.

César Palmeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elder Bertassi went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Quixabinha players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Florencio FC.
