SOCIEDADE ESPORTIVA MATÃO's Antônio Carlos Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Pimenta in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in TheZacato's zone, Arí Peres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovânio Bertassi came out of the goal and Arí Peres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SOCIEDADE ESPORTIVA MATÃO's Patrick França got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arí Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Bertassi having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, TheZacato's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Peres came free, but Geovânio Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cláudio Rodrigues came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Antônio Carlos Sanches could save by the left post. Geovânio Bertassi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SOCIEDADE ESPORTIVA MATÃO's Patrick França shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Arí Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The wind increased when Patrick França made the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Pimenta scored 1-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antônio Carlos Sanches, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Geovânio Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick França, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Cláudio Rodrigues might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antônio Carlos Sanches. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cláudio Rodrigues ran back to his position shaking his head. After 64 minutes of play, TheZacato's Anselmo Pimenta made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antônio Carlos Sanches was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cláudio Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Antônio Carlos Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo José Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Patrick França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Bertassi having to interfere. Antônio Carlos Sanches breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st match minute, SOCIEDADE ESPORTIVA MATÃO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. TheZacato's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manoel Vargas in the 95th minute. TheZacato's Manoel Vargas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Antônio Carlos Sanches in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
