Diamantino Custódio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caio Trancoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Júnior Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Gustavo Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Caio Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredão Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Batista in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Cristiano Batista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Piquete AD manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Palestra Futebol Clube to win.
