In the 17th minute Hernani Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kauan Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Ezequiel Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hernani Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Jucati FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernani Garcia couldn't finish the play. Rubinho Sá struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Augusto Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porradinha Futebol Clube. Porradinha Futebol Clube's Kauan Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute of the match, Rubinho Sá tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Augusto Silva saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 33rd minute, Fernandinho Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto Silva came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Porradinha Futebol Clube's Kauan Gonçalves. But to his dismay, Kauan Gonçalves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Cristóvão Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Damião in the 39th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Esteves during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rubinho Sá was the one to do the kick off. Hernani Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristóvão Peixoto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Ezequiel Damião took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristóvão Peixoto. Cristóvão Peixoto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 61st minute of the match Leopoldo Pirani shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Silva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rubinho Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Augusto Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 97th minute of the match Igor Esteves completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Igor Esteves a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Porradinha Futebol Clube booed when Jucati FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball.
