Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldão Dias in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Crissiumal's zone, Arthur Sampaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Montenegro came out of the goal and Arthur Sampaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Formigas SC's goalkeeper Wágner Aguiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarbas Diniz. If Jarbas Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarbas Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jarbas Diniz struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Wágner Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crissiumal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcinho de Amorim in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wágner Aguiar saved Formigas SC from getting behind. 44 minutes into the match, Jarbas Diniz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wágner Aguiar. Formigas SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jarbas Diniz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ronaldão Dias made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Crissiumal got a freekick which was hit by Chico Ferraz. If Jarbas Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wágner Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcinho de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute, Jarbas Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronaldão Dias was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Formigas SC's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Oséias Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Jarbas Diniz put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wágner Aguiar. In the 73rd minute, Marcinho de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jarbas Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Erasmo Montenegro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 78 minutes into the match, Ronaldão Dias notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Crissiumal's Erasmo Montenegro. Erasmo Montenegro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Jarbas Diniz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wágner Aguiar was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Marcinho de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Wágner Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcinho de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Formigas SC's goal looked a bit too open when Jarbas Diniz came free, but Wágner Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
