Egídio Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The audience was convinced that Cláudio Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Marinho was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Gualter Pimenta hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Gualter Pimentas short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Alberto Marinho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. João Augusto de Queiroz took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egídio Campidelis. Egídio Campidelis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rafa Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nelsinho da Silva got free with Alberto Marinho in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Marinho was a little too slow when Gualter Pimenta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-1.

The wind increased when Cláudio Almeida made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Touros's Vitório França seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vitório França the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Touros protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vitório França had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 57th minute, Vitório França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nilson Coutinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alberto Marinho. Touros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. João Augusto de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Egídio Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cássio Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. João Augusto de Queiroz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egídio Campidelis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. If João Augusto de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Touros's Alberto Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho da Silva in the 70th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Touros! In the 76th minute Cássio Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egídio Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egídio Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egídio Campidelis came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Touros's Cássio Teles. But to his dismay, Cássio Teles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Cássio Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Teles in the 91st minute of play forced BladeBoy FC's goalkeeper Egídio Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Nelsinho da Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BladeBoy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Touros the free kick. In the 95th minute, Nelsinho da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, BladeBoy FC could leave the field as winners, despite Touros having more of the ball for most of the match.
