Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Basílio Perez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Chaves in the 10th minute of play forced Agronomos fc's goalkeeper José Maria Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rodrigo de Salles fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jaguary EC's protests and gave Rodrigo de Salles a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Jaguary EC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo de Salles. Roger Sá's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Paulão Carvalho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. José Maria Moura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artur Barral went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute, Artur Barral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnaldo Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When Artur Barral came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Jaguary EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Barral couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Agronomos fc's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Barral came free, but José Maria Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Agronomos fc's Anísio Vides got a free kick in the 39th minute. Basílio Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Paulão Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anísio Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulão Carvalho having to interfere. After the first half Jaguary EC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Artur Barral made the kick off in the second half. Agronomos fc's José Maria Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Barral in the 52nd minute of play. Paulão Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Perez's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Basílio Perez struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Paulão Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agronomos fc. Roger Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Paulão Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Jaguary EC booed when Agronomos fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dráuzio Chaves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artur Barral might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Maria Moura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artur Barral ran back to his position shaking his head. Dráuzio Chaves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Maria Moura came out and tried to block the shot, but Dráuzio Chaves slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 89th minute. When Artur Barral came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Jaguary EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Barral couldn't finish the play. Dráuzio Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. José Maria Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Jaguary EC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
