Ruy Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Arósio having to interfere. Rony Magalhães's late challenge caught a Paranavai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rony Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. Rony Magalhães hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Fabiano Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, FELIPEKM Fórum Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Sebastião Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio de Medeiros having to interfere. Aloísio de Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastião Vergílio's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Paranavai's Aloísio Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Bezerra in the 43rd minute of play. Aloísio Arósio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruy Leite in the 44th minute.

The wind increased when Renato Sanches made the kick off in the second half. When Rony Magalhães was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, FELIPEKM Fórum Clube's Rony Magalhães got a free kick in the 56th minute. The long shot by Francisco Queirós in the 57th minute really tested Aloísio de Medeiros's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Renato Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paranavai's Sebastião Vergílio got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Renato Sanches recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristóvão Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. If Renato Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FELIPEKM Fórum Clube booed when Paranavai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aloísio Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruy Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Arí Severo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
