Vágner Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Pedro Augusto Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Gilberto Luz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MusicBall Show's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A MATOGROSSENSE the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean da Fonseca in the 17th minute of play forced MusicBall Show's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enio Toledo got free with Serafim da Silveira in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MusicBall Show's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcel Pirani in the 21st minute. A nice corner shot did that Marcel Pirani got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Serafim da Silveira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Rodrigo Ferraz sped through C.A MATOGROSSENSE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Serafim da Silveira. If Enio Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Augusto Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean da Fonseca in the 34th minute of play. If Jean da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, C.A MATOGROSSENSE's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rodrigo Ferraz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Enio Toledo scored 2-0 in the 49th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafim da Silveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Ferraz to make the kick off. In the 60thth minute of the game Enio Toledo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A MATOGROSSENSE's Serafim da Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Serafim da Silveira came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by MusicBall Show's Enio Toledo. But to his dismay, Enio Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 66 played minutes MusicBall Show got a freekick which was hit by Válter Coutinho. Válter Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Serafim da Silveira came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by MusicBall Show's Rodrigo Ferraz. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Ferraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. C.A MATOGROSSENSE's Vágner Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Vágner Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A MATOGROSSENSE's supporters rose to their feet, but Vágner Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Augusto Prestes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.A MATOGROSSENSE's Serafim da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enio Toledo in the 86th minute of play. C.A MATOGROSSENSE's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
