Flamengo Castilla's Zeca Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Neiva in the 14th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Luizão do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Atlético Paraense getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Marquinhos Jacinto hit a great ball. 34 minutes in the game Fellipe Domingues after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Daniel Albuquerque. A very good opportunity. In the 38th minute, Richard Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernani Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Fabrício Rosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Albuquerque was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 48th minute Hernani Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delfim Neiva to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Rosa in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Rosa in the 59th minute of play forced Atlético Paraense's goalkeeper Daniel Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Flamengo Castilla getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Sebastião Branco hit a great ball. Atlético Paraense's attack was well implemented in the 63rd minute, but when Delfim Neiva was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The Atlético Paraense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Albuquerque should have stopped the shot.
