After 2 played minutes Capalazia got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Ferreira. César Pernambucano in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adriano Vargas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Tomé Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th match minute, Capalazia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Zonta in the 35th minute of play forced Bage's goalkeeper Kristijonas Juozapavičius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rony Félix hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Edgard Zonta struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Kristijonas Juozapavičius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capalazia. In the 38th minute, Alexsandro Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, Bage's César Pernambucano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adriano Vargas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. César Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Vargas having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Ribeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Kristijonas Juozapavičius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Zonta in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Capalazia's goal looked a bit too open when César Pernambucano came free, but Adriano Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, César Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Tomé Novaes sped through Capalazia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adriano Vargas. Adriano Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomé Novaes in the 68th minute of the match. César Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Vargas having to interfere. 3-1 became the score in the 71st minute when Tomé Novaes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 78 minutes, César Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bage's supporters crossed their fingers, but César Pernambucano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling César Pernambucano in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adriano Vargas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Capalazia's Alexsandro Meira got a free kick in the 80th minute. Adriano Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomé Novaes in the 81st minute of play. If Tomé Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexsandro Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Kristijonas Juozapavičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Bage's Kristijonas Juozapavičius got control of the ball when Edgard Zonta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bage's Kristijonas Juozapavičius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Bage from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute, Nico de Andrade fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bage fans cheered their team off the field, for while Capalazia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
