After having played for 28 minutes, Richard Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crisolita EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richard Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matheus da Silva having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Crisolita EC's Richard Paranaense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matheus da Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Richard Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matheus da Silva having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Francisco Catarinense made a kick off. A very good chance. Ramiro de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Zeca Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Paulo Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matheus da Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Norberto Favoretto charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norberto Favoretto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Norberto Favoretto hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Ramiro de Mendonça scored 1-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeca Secco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
