Charqueadense's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ulysses Vianna hit a great ball. Oscar Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caio do Valle went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 48th minute, Ramón Prata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso de Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramón Prata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teodoro Monteiro lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 55th minute, one of Charqueadense:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Charqueadense. The long shot by Ulysses Vianna in the 73rd minute really tested Narciso de Alcântara's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Oscar Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO's Wesley Munhoz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Narciso de Alcântara but with some difficulty. Caio do Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio do Valle in the 88th minute of play forced PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO's goalkeeper Oscar Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio do Valle in the 90th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 101 minutes, Gernando Medeiros put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Oscar Santos. PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Charqueadense had controlled the match.
