Róbson Tinoco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, one of Bela Vista:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bela Vista. In the 12th minute, Laércio Mangueira made a precise shot to the right of Gláuber Brodel. Bela Vista's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. José Vítor Pires might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gláuber Brodel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Vítor Pires ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th match minute, Jókei CE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luan de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Sandro Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Pedro Luís Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jókei CE's Pedro Luís Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Cosme in the 26th minute of play. After 34 played minutes Bela Vista got a freekick which was hit by André Luís Bittencourt. Laércio Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Brodel having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Bela Vista's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Mangueira came free, but Gláuber Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio Mangueira in the 41st minute of play forced Bela Vista's goalkeeper Gláuber Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alfredo Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bela Vista's Gláuber Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Mangueira in the 46th minute of play. When Geovani Salles came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Jókei CE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovani Salles couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandro Cosme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Laércio Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Geovani Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bela Vista's Gláuber Brodel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Bela Vista from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Jókei CE's Laércio Mangueira got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Sandro Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66thth minute of the game Sandro Cosme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jókei CE's Pedro Luís Tinoco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Luís Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Cosme in the 76th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafa Paiva during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes Jókei CE got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Paiva. Alfredo Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Pedro Luís Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gláuber Brodel came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Jókei CE's Laércio Mangueira. But to his dismay, Laércio Mangueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When the match was over Jókei CE could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bela Vista throughout the match.
