In the 5th minute, Válbson Moura made a precise shot to the right of Giovani do Vale. Pantanal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Claudinho Prata took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Giovani do Vale. Pantanal FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Soviético FC's Wiliam Novaes got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Válbson Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luís Gustavo Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Inácio Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Moura in the 35th minute of play forced Pantanal FC's goalkeeper Giovani do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovani do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute Inácio Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inácio Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Giovani do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Válbson Moura made the kick off in the second half. Soviético FC's Ronaldinho Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Teixeira in the 59th minute of play. Giovani do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inácio Munhoz in the 60th minute. After 62nd play minutes Inácio Munhoz shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Giovani do Vale and just under the crossbar into goal. Giovani do Vale was a little too slow when Válbson Moura got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-4. Giovani do Vale came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Soviético FC's Inácio Munhoz. But to his dismay, Inácio Munhoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. If Válbson Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pantanal FC's Giovani do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Pantanal FC from getting a goal against them. Válbson Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inácio Munhoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Giovani do Vale made a huge save. Giovani do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Novaes in the 94th minute of play. Válbson Moura received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Giovani do Vale came out and tried to block the shot, but Válbson Moura slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 96th minute. When the match was over Soviético FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pantanal FC throughout the match.
