In the 35thth minute of the game Marcos Dionísio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jókei CE's Pedro Luís Tinoco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kaká Vides made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laércio Mangueira in the 47th minute. In the 47th minute, Willian Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.
