Cido Brodel might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmílson Vieira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cido Brodel ran back to his position shaking his head. Edmílson Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Brodel in the 30th minute of play. Vladimir de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Porto in the 32nd minute of play. Edmílson Vieira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cido Brodel's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Marcel Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Edmílson Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45thth minute of the game Jorge Tavares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC CORINGÃO's Vladimir de Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cido Brodel was the one to do the kick off. Tiago Porto took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimir de Toledo. Vladimir de Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 68th minute, Tiago Porto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BARCELONA F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 77th minute, Ronaldão Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmílson Vieira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cido Brodel's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Ronaldão Sena, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cido Brodel in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmílson Vieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
