Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benê Vasconcelos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Benê Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Tipucu's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Cunha came free, but Dalmo Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Ernesto Vale had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benê de Andrade during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Goiania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes Goiania FC got a freekick which was hit by Wellington Neto. If Cássio Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26thth minute of the game Cássio Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tipucu's Dalmo Rezende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caio Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30thth minute of the game Cássio Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tipucu's Dalmo Rezende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute, Caio Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dino Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tipucu's Cristiano Veiga got a free kick in the 36th minute. Belmiro Guimarães made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Benê Vasconcelos sent off a good shot on target. Benê Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Dino Massa came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Belmiro Guimarães could save by the left post. Wellington Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Goiania FC's Valdir Valle got a free kick in the 46th minute. When Dino Massa came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Tipucu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Massa couldn't finish the play. The Tipucu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Goiania FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cássio Cunha to make the kick off. Dênis Mineiro's late challenge caught a Tipucu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dênis Mineiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes Goiania FC got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Mineiro. After a defensive mix-up in Goiania FC's zone, Dino Massa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Belmiro Guimarães came out of the goal and Dino Massa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Goiania FC fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Goiania FC's Cássio Cunha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dalmo Rezende came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Goiania FC's Nilmar Neto. But to his dismay, Nilmar Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 72nd minute, Dênis Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Cunha in the 79th minute of play forced Tipucu's goalkeeper Dalmo Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilmar Neto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dalmo Rezende firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience was convinced that Cássio Cunha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dalmo Rezende was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Cássio Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdir Valle hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Cássio Cunha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalmo Rezende having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Cássio Cunha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dalmo Rezende was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Nilmar Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Dalmo Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Goiania FC played a much better game than Tipucu and deserved their victory. The Tipucu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
