In the 45th minute Romeu Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Gernando Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Cardoso in the 54th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Colas F.C's Romário Saraiva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivo Ferraz. That made the score 0-4 after 56 minutes of play. 59 minutes into the game, Joel Xavier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colas F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tertuliano the free kick. A collision led to Colas F.C getting a freekick after 59 minutes play.
