A collision led to Beirao SS getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Tiburcio Guipuzkoa hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Beirao SS's Váldson Siqueira got a free kick in the 9th minute. Toninho Cerezo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Bezerra went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Rafael Bezerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kléberson Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Lucas having to interfere. Rafael Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Cerezo having to interfere. Fausto Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Toninho Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Enio Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Pedro Mineiro to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Beirao SS getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ismael de Sousa hit a great ball. Váldson Siqueira charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Váldson Siqueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Guarimanzal booed when Beirao SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toninho Cerezo was a little too slow when Enio Campidelis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-2. Gilvan Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Kléberson Tavares struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Arí Lucas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beirao SS. Rafael Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Cerezo having to interfere.
