In a very dangerous position, a player in Gameleira fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Gameleira:s Moacir Barbosa showed great skill when he stopped Geovanni Senna:s penalty. Aloísio Rosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Cássio Simão made a huge save. Cássio Simão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aloísio Rosa in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juninho Medeiros in the 38th minute of play forced Getulina SC's goalkeeper Cássio Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes in the game, Aloísio Rosa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cássio Simão having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Juninho Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Aloísio Rosa could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Cássio Simão however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 54th minute, Aloísio Rosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 55 minutes of play, Gameleira's Juninho Medeiros made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cássio Simão was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Gameleira getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Juninho Medeiros hit a great ball. Moacir Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Veiga in the 66th minute of play. If Aloísio Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Juninho Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juninho Medeiros in the 70th minute of play. Hugo Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Aloísio Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77thth minute of the game Juninho Medeiros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Getulina SC's Cássio Simão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cássio Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juninho Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Hélder Rosado sped through Getulina SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cássio Simão. 84 minutes into the match, Getulina SC's goal looked a bit too open when Juninho Medeiros came free, but Cássio Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juninho Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Simão having to interfere. In the 88th minute Juninho Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Gameleira's Aloísio Rosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cássio Simão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélder Rosado in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio Simão saved Getulina SC from getting behind. After 96 played minutes Getulina SC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Pontes. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gameleira fully deserved thier win.
