Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guto Favoretto started the match with the kick off. In the 5th play minute Aloísio Rosa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gilvan Lara. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Gameleira's Juninho Medeiros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gilvan Lara. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. In the 18th minute, Ulisses Paes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moacir Barbosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 21 minutes into the match, Cabedelos's goal looked a bit too open when Juninho Medeiros came free, but Gilvan Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilvan Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aloísio Rosa in the 25th minute. Moacir Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Paes in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Ulisses Paes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cabedelos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Jonathan Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moacir Barbosa having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Aloísio Rosa made a precise shot to the right of Gilvan Lara. Cabedelos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. After 44 played minutes Gameleira got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Silva. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-2 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juninho Medeiros to make the kick off. Joaquim Paranaense charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Paranaense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cabedelos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Gilvan Lara went to the wrong direction when Edmund Neuber was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Gilvan Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Rosa in the 56th minute of the match. Gilvan Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juninho Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Gilvan Lara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juninho Medeiros went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Cabedelos's zone, Aloísio Rosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilvan Lara came out of the goal and Aloísio Rosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aloísio Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Lara having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gameleira's Edmund Neuber got a free kick in the 71st minute. Guto Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moacir Barbosa having to interfere. Aloísio Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Lara having to interfere. Gilvan Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juninho Medeiros in the 81st minute of play. Eurico Recife hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 85thth minute of the game Aloísio Rosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabedelos's Gilvan Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adhemar Martins hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Gilvan Lara came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Gameleira's Aloísio Rosa. But to his dismay, Aloísio Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. Aloísio Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moacir Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guto Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Gameleira were the better team. Gameleira's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
