Denílson Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juninho Medeiros in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denílson Paraíba saved caverna de adulão from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Juninho Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gameleira's supporters rose to their feet, but Juninho Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denílson Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gameleira had played much better football throughout.
