Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ciro Cavalcante started the match with the kick off. Roger Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 5 minutes into the game, Roger Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Adelino Meira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Alexsandro Cardoso fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mauá's protests and gave Alexsandro Cardoso a yellow card for diving instead. Fraga's Mauro Lago got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gabriel Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mauro Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 played minutes Fraga got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Brodel. Gabriel Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Lago in the 30th minute of play. Roger Moraes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adelino Meira firmly grabbed it by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Ciro Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Meira having to interfere. Fraga's Adelino Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Moraes in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Mauá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Fraga's Mauro Lago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Madureira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Roger Moraes notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Fraga's Adelino Meira. Adelino Meira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Ciro Cavalcante came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Mauá fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Cavalcante couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute Ciro Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave Mauá a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lucas Sá, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fraga's Adelino Meira. 4-0. Roger Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Meira having to interfere. Roger Moraes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adelino Meira having to make a save.
