In the 19th minute, Gabriel Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Tatu Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Juan Prado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glauco Quirino. Rafael Salgados short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Faustão Messias to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Faustão Messias made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Murilo Trigo sent off a good shot on target. Rafael Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cacau SS booed when Tatu Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tatu Futebol Clube eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
