Spectators: 6652 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nelsinho França got the match started through his kick off. Bernardinho de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelsinho França in the 14th minute of the match. César da Rocha came out of the goal and Valdemar Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Geovânio Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but César da Rocha was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Geovânio Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galo Doido F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdemar Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. César da Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Matheus Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. Many of Galo Doido F.C's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Galo Doido F.C may have spent more time on the ball, but Cururupe were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
